Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Initiative
In support of the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero, Everlight Chemical continues to offer chemical solutions that conform with the ZDHC MRSL guidance on chemicals and sustainability, make efforts to protect consumers, workers and the environment in the textile, apparel and footwear industries, and manage the chemical supply chain in a sustainable manner, advancing towards the goal of zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.

Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (ETAD)

Pledge by Members of Taiwan Circular Economy 100 (TCE 100) Alliance Led by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA)
Our Commitments:
- Starting from within the business to form inner circulation in business operations: improve energy and resource efficiency, develop key materials and technologies, design recyclable and reusable products and develop innovative business models.
- Expanding energy and resource-related collaborations among businesses: build an industrial symbiotic system of energy and resource circularity, help the industry to move from supply chains to “supply network” and expand regional integration and interdisciplinary exchange.
- Working with others to build a resource circulation system: understand and tap into dynamic needs at home and abroad, drive cultural change in manufacturing processes and consumer behavior and promote values of sustainability, so as to transition to a new economic model where resources can be reutilized indefinitely.

Four Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work by the International Labour Organization (ILO)
In response to international trends and corporate governance practices, Everlight Chemical has formulated the Everlight Chemical Human Rights Policy. The Policy is underpinned by our core business philosophy and commitment to ensure compliance with regulations at all branches across the globe. It also embodies our goal of building a Happiness Enterprise.

Safety Partnership Declaration of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) under the Ministry of Labor
We are committed to building a safe and inclusive workplace, strengthening protection of workers’ physical and mental health and correcting poor work habits, so as to improve behavior-based safety (BBS) at work and prevent occupational injuries and accidents.

TCIA Net-Zero Emissions Declaration
Everlight Chemical supports the three commitments outlined in the Net-Zero Emissions Declaration of the Taiwan Chemical Industry Association (TCIA). We will strive to work with TCIA to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and are committed to implementing the required best practices and actively contributing to global sustainable development. (Execution date: 2022/08/09)
Commitments of the TCIA Net-Zero Emissions Declaration
I. TCIA promises to fulfill its responsibility to protect the earth, comply with the Paris Agreement, cooperate with TCIA members to implement the United Nations’ climate actions, develop advanced low-carbon/negative-carbon technologies, protect the ecological environment, and achieve the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 as well as take action to limit global warming to 1.5°C;
II. TCIA promises to follow the framework of the National Development Council’s “Taiwan’s Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions in 2050,” integrate the resources of industries, government, academia and research institutes to assist TCIA members in developing the solutions for net-zero emissions, such as process innovation, energy transition, circular economy, hydrogen energy technologies, carbon dioxide capture materials synthesis, and other negative emissions technologies;
III. TCIA is committed to bridging Taiwan’s chemical industry and society and aligning with international net-zero emission strategies. TCIA aims to introduce advanced standards and technologies, connect the mid/downstream industries, and build net-zero emissions industrial ecological chains. TCIA will also promote emission disclosure mechanisms in Taiwan’s chemical industry, and proactively provide the public with updated information about emissions in the industry to fulfill the association’s social responsibility and establish the basis for social dialogues with accurate information.
